Delete your Fia account

App name: Fia (Android package: in.xade.fia)

You can request permanent deletion of your Fia account and associated personal data using either method below.

Option A — In the Fia app (recommended)

  1. Open Fia and sign in with your phone number (OTP).
  2. Go to Profile (bottom navigation).
  3. Open Account Center → Personal details.
  4. Tap Delete Account and follow the prompts to confirm.

Note: If in-app deletion is temporarily unavailable, use Option B below.

Option B — Email request

Email support@fia.app with:

  • Subject: Delete my Fia account
  • Body: Your registered phone number (with country code, e.g. +91XXXXXXXXXX) and a short confirmation that you want to delete your account.

We may contact you once to verify identity. Deletion is completed within 30 days of verification.

What we delete

When your account is deleted, we remove or anonymize, where applicable:

  • Profile information (name, phone, email, gender, date of birth, profile photo)
  • Saved delivery addresses
  • Creator profile and uploaded shorts/videos tied to your account
  • Preferences and app-specific settings
  • Authentication access to your account

What you lose access to

After deletion, you will no longer be able to:

  • Return or cancel undelivered orders
  • View order history
  • Access posted video content
  • Access business partners & earnings (creators)
  • Use your Fia account

What we may keep

We may retain certain information when required by law or for legitimate business purposes, including:

  • Order and payment records (e.g. transaction IDs, amounts, dates) for tax, accounting, and dispute resolution for up to 7 years
  • Fraud-prevention and security logs for a limited period
  • Anonymized data that cannot identify you

We do not retain your data longer than necessary for these purposes.

Delete data without deleting your account

You can remove individual saved addresses in the app (Account Center → Manage addresses → Delete) without closing your account. You can update profile fields in Personal details.
